Health coaching is becoming increasingly wide spread. This is the intersection where busy people with intense jobs and lifestyle meets the need for a reset and re-define of some diet & lifestyle choices in-order to address their health now and in the future.
Leading a busy lifestyle and not looking after yourself often looks like actions such as; skipping breakfast, grabbing food on the run, going to bed too late, not exercising enough, drinking alcohol every night, not eating nutrient dense meals regularly, not getting outside enough; or whatever it might be for you. These patterns are usually developed honourably based on a necessity to survive and succeed and ‘get it all done, whilst staying sane’. Sound familiar? There are no limits on what it could be that takes us away from looking after our own health. Whether it be a demanding job, raising children, launching a business, competing in a sporting event or simply not knowing how; the common theme tends to be that you are looking after everything and everyone else instead of yourself. But, the problem is that without you at the centre of it all, firing off all cylinders, everything stops and eventually so could you. Listen to those little niggles, what symptoms do you have that you wish weren’t there but which don’t fall under the traditional banner of illnesses that can receive GP assistance.
Those niggles you feel now are early warning signs. Many official medical studies have now been carried out that make a direct link between diet and lifestyle choices on preventative illnesses. My work addresses your choices and health concerns, helping to prevent them from developing.
It’s never too late or too early to start transformative or preventative health measures. This is the goal of my work. I believe that everyone has a right to feel at their best every single day. We do not have to live with aches and pains or heart palpitations, lack of energy and brain fog. We can re-wire our behavioural patterns to create a barrier for disease and a strong platform for which to perform and continue to be our absolute best and more importantly, help prevent illness and disease setting in.
